Seb is the lead and sole instructor of the 200-Hour Online Qigong Teacher Training. He has been practising Qigong since 2010 and teaching since 2018, with many students trained to date and senior tutor experience at the Traditional Thai Massage Association Japan and the Shivaga Traditional Medical School in Japan.
His Qigong training has taken him to masters across Mainland China, Hong Kong, Japan, Indonesia, Thailand and Scotland, with named lineage teachers including Ma Zheng in China, Alex Cox and Soichiro Watanabe in Tokyo, and Des Lawton in Scotland, as well as a few quiet, unnamed masters along the way. He has gone on to lead Qigong groups in Tokyo, Fukuoka, Vienna, Seoul and Da Nang.
His teaching is precise, unhurried and grounded in the forms themselves. The work he leads sits within a clear Traditional Chinese Medicine framework - meridians, acupoints, the Five Elements, the cultivation of Jing, Qi and Shen - taught in a way that gives the body something to do and the mind something to verify. Where the popular versions of Qigong have grown vague, his teaching stays specific.
Seb is also a Therapeutic Thai Bodywork instructor accredited by TTMA Japan since 2018, and has trained extensively in TCM Reflexology. Both inform a hands-on understanding of how the body's energy lines respond to careful, structured work. His path began with Yoga in 1997, and the combination of long-form Yoga practice, classical Qigong and Therapeutic Thai Bodywork gives his teaching an unusual depth across both Indian and Chinese traditions of working with the body and its energies.
Jenny is 500-hour certified with Yoga Alliance and has been teaching at UNI Yoga Academy in Vietnam, with particular focus on Restorative and Therapeutic Yoga. She is also an experienced Sound Healer. While the 200-Hour Qigong Teacher Training is taught by Seb alone, Jenny's wider work at UNI Yoga Academy has built a strong and loyal community in Vietnam over the past decade, and it is from this community that experienced Vietnamese Yoga teachers and Qigong practitioners regularly come to study with Inner Flowing.
Jenny contributes to other Inner Flowing programmes, including the Yoga Teacher Trainings and Sound Healing sessions, and she and Seb share a teaching ethos rooted in precision, sincerity and respect for the traditions they work within.
Seb is patient and unpretentious in his teaching, and holds a learning space in which sincere students feel supported at every stage of the journey. His teaching rests on authentic forms practised with care and precision, and on the internal dimensions that give Qigong its real substance.
Students learn to feel Qi moving within the body and in connection with the wider Universe, to preserve Jing in its sense of vital Essence, and to cultivate Ting Jin - the listening sensitivity through which Qi can be perceived and worked with directly. From this trained awareness, Yi gains the steadiness and clarity needed to direct and project Qi where it is needed. From that foundation, the work gradually opens toward Shen, which is progressively refined and raised through the forms belonging to the more advanced dimensions of the practice.
Shen is understood here as the most refined expression of Qi: the aspect that touches consciousness, mind and what may be called the Higher Self, although still within the container of consciousness as observed through the body. As the practice matures, its vibration lifts, and with it a clearer sense of oneself, of the Qi animating body and mind, and of others, as awareness is no longer confined to the physical frame. Over time, a quiet channel to the "Higher Self" may begin to open.
